Emotional Dependence & why you feel being deprived of love and care

Life is more than what you feel, see and imagine. We all have been searching for that one person or thing in our lives who can make us feel being loved. Some of us are fortunate enough to have someone who supports them honestly, and with whom they can share their wounds. But there are some who didn’t get receive this support, love and care, and are still struggling with their inner wounds and seeking someone or something to help them in healing those.  This article is for all of those who feel emotionally detached, who didn’t receive enough love and care, and are living with some unhealed wounds in their hearts. It is a compilation of spiritual, psychological learnings of many great leaders and has some of my personal ways of dealing with the same. Let’s understand why we seek emotional dependence in the first place. We all have been born and brought up in different environments, families, and religions. All of this builds who you are today. But life isn’t this easy and things happen.

I’ve been working so hard for years to get into this company, I’ve spent sleepless nights to get this job, I’ve lost everything else for getting this work, I've been trying my best since long, but I feel disappointed, broken and brutally hurt that after being all of this hard work and constant attempts why I still don’t see the results.  These are some of the questions which keep on revolving in our minds in this career driven age. Hello everyone, hope everyone is doing well and in case you aren’t then you’re definitely at the right place to understand what the problem is. If I ask you a very simple question i.e., how do you define the term Corporate life? What would you answer?   Most of us would say, it’s boring, it’s monotonous, same routine, same work, same environment for your life and we don’t get time to do anything personal, pursue our hobbies, interests or passions. We just woke up, dress up and get back to work. Don’t have time for anything else and eagerly wait for weekends so that we can relax. Don't worry you're not alone saying it. As per an article from economics times, just 20% people are happy with their jobs in India which means 80% are unhappy and dissatisfied. Can you imagine as per the population of India, how many people fall into this unhappy job satisfaction category? Hi everyone, I hope everyone is doing well. Today, I wanna talk up a very sensitive topic which people usually ignore to take up and avoid discussion on. You know what my favorite color is? It’s black and I believe so many of you also would have black as your favorite too. We prefer black clothes, black accessories, black phones, and so many things right, and then I just wanna ask everyone who is reading this with all of my heart that why, why our choice can’t remain same when it comes to the skin color of humans, why a person having deeper skin tone can’t be seen same way as a comparatively bright skin one, why people prefer a fairer boy or girl rather than one with a darker one. I know it’s extremely sensitive and fragile topic to be picked up but I really wanna make people stop doing this discrimination based on merely skin tones and understand the scientific and logical reasons behind all of it and start respecting all.
