Do you hate your typical corporate job?
Hello everyone, hope everyone
is doing well and in case you aren’t then you’re definitely at the right place
to understand what the problem is. If I ask you a very simple question i.e.,
how do you define the term Corporate life? What would you answer?

Most of us would say, it’s
boring, it’s monotonous, same routine, same work, same environment for your
life and we don’t get time to do anything personal, pursue our hobbies,
interests or passions. We just woke up, dress up and get back to work. Don’t
have time for anything else and eagerly wait for weekends so that we can relax.
Don't worry you're not alone saying it. As per an article from economics times, just 20% people are happy with their jobs in India which means 80% are unhappy and dissatisfied. Can you imagine as per the population of India, how many people fall into this unhappy job satisfaction category?
Well obviously, I can't take all the job scenarios but let's take an IT job which I'm also in; as an example to understand the problem is in the our perspective.

Now, before you start complaining your job, I just want to say your mathematics isn’t good. Now, don’t say I’m a maths
student, I had scored 100 in school or college or whatever because I don’t know
about you but I’ve always scored 95+ in the subject and you can definitely
trust me on whatever I will be mentioning in coming part of this article.
Before starting I want you
all to stop for a while, activate your mind and very carefully read and
understand the next points.
Let’s say you are into a
typical nine to five and five days a week job. Trust me no job is better than
this. Wondering how? Here it is.
Let’s do maths:
We know :
A day = 24 hours (In case you don’t know
this then your life is already awesome nothing can haunt you)
A week = 7 days
A month = 30 or 31 days (in general except Feb.)
Now, considering a 5 days a
week job:
Number of working days in a week
= 5 days
Number of free days in a week
= 2 days
Now, in a month:
Working days = 20 days
Free days =
8 days
--------------------------------------Eq (1)
So, in a month, out of four
weeks you got 8 days which is equal to a complete free week plus one more day.
Let’s talk about a year:
A year = 12 months
From equation (1):
Working days in a year = 12*20 = 240 days
Free days in a year = 12*8 = 96days. ---------------------------------------Eq (2)
So, what happened is in a
year, you got 96days free days which is nearly equal to 3 complete months.
Therefore, One year = 3 free
months.
Now, let’s talk about 5
year:
From equation (2):
Working days in 5 years = 5 * 12 * 20 = 1200 days
Free days in 5 years = 5 * 12 * 8 = 480 days
And 480 days mean = 365 days + 115 days
= 1 year + 4months (approx.)
Now, just hold on for a
while and just try to understand you have:
In a 7 day week = 2 days FREE
In a 4 week month = 1 week FREE
In a 12 month year = 3 months FREE
And in every 5 years = 1.4 years FREE
Now, let’s say you started
your job at age of 23 and you worked in that for let’s say 10 years, so what
happened is as soon as you got into job and work, you started becoming lazy,
Mondays started to haunt you and weekends seem too less to do anything, right?
But after reading it all you might have got an idea that it’s extremely easy to
complain about things but to work for it is something we all avoid. We just
want everything in hand and don’t wanna work on solutions and love to shout and criticize
the problems.
Now, if you still wanna complain saying that we don't do a 5 days week job, we just get Sundays, we work so much, we don't get these many free days then I just wanna tell you stop saying this, doesn't matter you are in a 5 days or 6 days a week job, you need to understand the work pressure is same. Whatever you do in 6 days other person is doing in 5. So, don't say that !

Do understand a job has
nothing to impact either on your personal life or your passion. If you complain
saying I don’t get time to pursue my passions then trust me you’re not at all
passionate about it because if you really had been, it won’t have let you say
this. Passion just doesn’t require time but dedication. Do think again about it today,
I’m sure you’ll either find that thing isn’t your passion or you’re not passionate
to pursue it.
It’s okay to have no plans
but having not at all any purpose and remain unaware from the motive of your
life is terrible. Life is just about choices and priorities because we all have time.
Rethink today !
Don’t make excuses !
You have time !
And you definitely know You aren’t
that busy as you say !
